Home run
just watched Home run on channel 8. a 2 and a half hour show.yet it teaches me quite a few thingy.anyway this story is telling that,there's a boy who run cross country just because he wanna win a pair of shoe for his sister.yeaps.the boy lost his sister's shoe previously,den because their family is poor,they have no choice den they have to share the shoe together.everyday,before going to sch,the brother wld wait for her sister to pass him the shoe.den after that he wld run to the sch and oftenly he was caught late.and he have to sweep the whole sch.this lasted until the cross country thingy came and he won the race and get the new pair of shoe.actually in btw there is oso some other parts..lol but it's too long to type it out all here.anyway it's a good catch ! (:so what did i learnt?erm.while watching the show;i can see how tough their life was.one part tt hit upon me is when the boy actually run with all his might,without his shoe.imagine how painful it was to run on rough surfaces.but well,because he keep thinking of his sister,he ran.tt's amazing man.den his sister also,at tt time,the mother is gonna give birth,den the mid-wive was sleeping soundly on the chair,didnt notice(the mid wive is living across their hse,and she said that if her mother is gonna give birth,just wave the red cloth and she will ride her bike over,which is 20mins).looking at the agony of her mother,the sister run all the way to the mid-wive hse also.she also dun have shoes on.wat's worse is that there are pieces of sharp bottle on the ground,but still she run all the way.why?because of her mother.yeaps.thru this,i understand how they perserve though times are tough.and the most impt thingy i realised is that,watever u do,have a goal/motive inside ur mind,so when u feel lyk giving up,u can look back and the goal will keep pushing u ahead. (:
